- Home is in the Willamette Valley of Oregon on 5 acres with John my husband, our two dogs (a German Shepard and Schipperke) and my two horses. I love animals and can't imagine my life without these beautiful creatures in it, and oh yeah, my husband too. We have two grown children, and four grandbabies! I have always loved art, it kept my hands busy and made me feel creative. On a TV program someone said "think back to what you liked to do as a child to help you find your bliss". I thought long and hard to what made me happy as a child. I remembered going into my dad's garage and taking wire to twist and shape into what I called "jewelry". Interesting! I then happened upon a chain maille class a local bead store. Wow, I was hooked after the first class. I then took a class in Art Clay and one in lampworking. It all seemed a natural progression to incorporate the lamp worked beads into my silver work. It is magical and meditating to wind molten glass on a mandrel, creating something beautiful from basically nothing and then transform that creation into a beautiful piece of jewelry. This is bliss!
